Spread Betting in the investment world uses speculation to win or lose. The spread of high-risk bets,  followed by the same high profits for an accurate speculation. The idea spread betting was first discovered by Charles K. McNeil, who was a math teacher. McNeil then a bet in Chicago around 1940.
